Is Tiny Eden on Console or Switch?
The honest platform answer: Tiny Eden is currently announced for PC on Steam (Windows plus a SteamOS / Linux sheet) — not for consoles.
Facts last checked: August 28, 2026 · full re-check at launch on September 7, 2026
The Short Answer
Tiny Eden is announced for PC on Steam, not for consoles. The Steam listing (checked Aug 28, 2026) publishes Windows requirements and a SteamOS / Linux sheet — no Switch, PS5, Xbox or mobile version is announced anywhere in official channels. A May 2026 developer FAQ said a native Linux port was "no promises right now, but we are looking into it"; the store now lists Linux configs, so the store sheet is the current authority. The developers still expect the game to work on Steam Deck, though the current demo has had no Deck optimisation pass (official demo announcement, July 8, 2026). Never treat rumours as ports: if a console version is announced, this page will say so with a source.
PC System Requirements (Windows)
Official requirements from the Steam page (checked Aug 28, 2026). The launch listing no longer matches the August 13, 2026 sheet: RAM and storage went up, and the named GPU floor went down.
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 (64-bit) | Windows 10/11 (64-bit) |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 3 3100 | Intel Core i5-10400 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 |
| RAM | 16 GB | 16 GB |
| GPU | GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB / RX 570 4 GB | RTX 2060 / RX 6600 |
| DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 |
| Storage | 10 GB (SSD recommended) | 10 GB (SSD recommended) |
If your PC is below a GTX 1050 Ti / RX 570 or has less than 16 GB of RAM, try the free demo first. The demo store page may still show the older 4 GB / RTX 2070 / 2 GB block — that text is stale and is not the launch spec.
SteamOS & Linux
Steam lists Linux as a supported PC platform (checked Aug 28, 2026). Minimum: SteamOS 3.x or Ubuntu 22.04 LTS / newer (64-bit, glibc 2.28 or newer), the same CPU and 16 GB RAM as Windows, 10 GB storage, PipeWire or PulseAudio, and a Vulkan 1.3 driver with mesh shader support (AMD RDNA2 or newer, NVIDIA Turing or newer). Recommended GPU matches Windows: RTX 2060 / RX 6600. Steam's own note: the game does not start on GPUs or drivers without mesh shader support. macOS is not listed.
If a Port Gets Announced
This page is re-checked against official channels on every fact-check pass — the moment a console or Switch version is announced, the answer above changes with a source. See the release date page for the current platform line-up.
